WESTERN PARK CC - THE MIGHTY WARRIORS
AbOUT US
Western Park Cricket Club is a community club based out of the Western Park Recreation Reserve on Tarwin Street in Warragul. Originally formed as St. Andrews Cricket Club, the club relocated and was officially renamed the Western Park Warriors in 1977 and have enjoyed a rich and successful history since. Priding themselves on being a competitive force on the cricket field, over 100 senior and junior cricketers call Western Park home each season, with the club celebrating premiership success in Division 1 and U-16 levels last summer.
Home to the premier cricket facilities in the Warragul & District Cricket Association, five senior teams and six junior sides play weekly on the newly constructed Club Hotel Oval (a ground dedicated to cricket including a turf wicket), and Findex Oval (the existing football oval), with players developing skills through a dedicated coaching program that supports the move from Blasters, through to Juniors, and then into the Senior ranks.
Western Park has a strong community focus in addition to on-field exploits, with many local families and supporters spending their Monday, Wednesday, and Friday evenings (for Junior competitions), and Saturday afternoons (for seniors) participating in and watching the cricket, and the close-knit nature of the club is reflected by the involvement of people of all ages and from all walks of life.

To those already at the club, welcome to our new online home, and for those seeking out a new club to join, we can't wait to see you down at Western Park!
